It is now possible to sign up for the tenth edition of the Trieste Contemporanea International Design Competition, for designers from 23 European countries. The competition is held every two years by the Trieste Contemporanea committee with the support of In.C.E.(Central European Initiative), and is also open to Italian entries.Registration is free. An international jury chaired by Gillo Dorfleswill select the best projects to be shown in the final exhibition, focusing on those that best respond to the theme for 2012, which calls for the design of a new, original functional object inspired by an anonymous or everyday object from the recent European past, found among those that are presently headed towards extinction. The rules of the competition and the online registration form can be found at the website www.triestecontemporanea.it/designcontest.
