At the Still gallery in Milan, the first solo show by the photographer Michele Palazzo. Curated by Denis Curti and Maria Vittoria Baravelli, the show features 20 images representing the melting pot of the population of New York.

The title of the show is a direct reference to the youthful writings of Truman Capote (“Where the World Begins”) rediscovered at the New York Public Library. The stories are fragments that project us into the lives and emotions of strangers.

Likewise, Palazzo’s sensitive photographs record emotions and stimulate the imagination regarding the essential dynamics of the inhabitants of New York City.
