At Villa Olmo, the 23rd edition of the contemporary textile art exhibition Miniartextil is on the theme of Eros, presented by the Associazione Arte&Arte. The show, the only one of its kind in Europe held on an annual basis, is curated by Luciano Caramel. It contains 54 mini-textile works selected in an international competition, with the participation of 430 artists from 43 different nations. Another strong point is the involvement of major artists from the international contemporary scene: this year the big names include Yinka Shonibare and Mandy Greer. Eros Miniartextil offers a chance to see works by outstanding artists who are expanding and enriching the world of textile art.
