Le Stanze del Vetro pays homage to the glass creations of Ettore Sottsass (1917-2007) for the centennial of his birth, with the exhibition Ettore Sottsass: glass curated by Luca Massimo Barbero, director of the Istituto di Storia dell’Arte of Fondazione Giorgio Cini.
The show contains over 200 pieces, mostly from the collection of Ernest Mourmans, many of which have never before been shown in public, in an innovative installation designed by Annabelle Selldorf.
For the occasion, the first anthology of Sottsass’ works in glass will be published by Skira.
