INTERNI, the interior and contemporary design magazine directed by Gilda Bojardi, is the communication partner of Italian Pavilion at Expo2025 Osaka (April 13 – October 13, 2025).
The agreement, which provides for the promotion and organization by INTERNI of a wide range of events, cultural activities and editorial initiatives, was signed between Commissariat General for Italy at Expo2025 Osaka and Mondadori Media.
The Italian Pavilion was presented on September 12 at Landscape Festival of Bergamo (September 7-24) and will be again illustrated by architect Mario Cucinella on September 28th at Cersaie, Bologna (September 25-29)
The Italian Pavilion, which will also host the Holy See for the first time, will represent a modern version of The Ideal City, the symbolic image of the Italian Renaissance according to a project by MCA - Mario Cucinella.
In Osaka, Mario Cucinella will bring a contemporary interpretation of urban development that reflects on the founding values of our culture: a space that comes from the idea of square, theatre, garden and which builds through a know-how that it is based on real interactions between people.
An interpretation of the urban profile of cities where the relationship with the past and with the construction strategies adopted and the theme and solutions of sustainability represent a distinctive feature.
