Fondation Cartier pour l'Art Contemporain (261, Boulevard Raspail 75014) presents, in a setting by Alessandro Mendini, works and narrations of over 40 painters, sculptors and directors from all over the world: Brazil, India, Congo, Haiti, Mexico, Denmark, Japan, the United States… The show sheds light on how artists who have developed their talent in unusual circumstances are rarely invited to show their work in contemporary art institutions. Alessandro Mendini presents the Petite Cathédrale and the horseman of Dürer, both in Bisazzamosaic, and vases by Venini, Guerriero di Vetro and Giotto.
