Work is underway for the 51st edition of I Saloni, to present thousands of high-quality products aimed at markets all over the world, confirming the role of Milan as the international furnishings capital. The layout will be the same as in the past, with the design sector organized to create an ideal route, in coordination with the biennial kitchen and bath exhibitions. For the general pubic, the good news is that it will be possible to visit I Saloni on Saturday as well. As always, there will be many coordinated events around the city. From furnishings to complements, kitchens to baths to prototypes by designers under 35: multiple proposals from about 2500 exhibitors. Every April Milan welcomes over 300,000 visitors, and it will happen again for the 51st edition, in recognition of the quality of the commercial offerings and the fairs themselves. “In Milan: where else?” is the slogan of the 2012 ad campaign. I Saloni–in an area of over 210,000 m2 at the Fair, with the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, Eurocucina(the international fair of kitchen furnishings), the Salone Internazionale del Bagno(bath furnishings), the Salone Internazionale del Complemento d’Arredo(complements) and the SaloneSatellite – move forward with the usual optimism, sustained by the influx of exhibitors. The various fairs, in fact, are already fully booked. The wide range of merchandise seen in the five events covers every type of decor and style. Eurocucina, once again this year, will be accompanied by proposals on technological innovation of appliances and exhaust hoods, FTK(Technology for the Kitchen). The SaloneSatellite, on the theme of “Design<–>Technology”,is celebrating its 15th edition.
