From 16 to 24 June 2018 – Udine – various locations
Art and sound, music and space, architecture and light. An intriguing relationship to explore three senses: sight, hearing, touch. Udine welcomes the third edition of Il suono in mostra, an international event on sound art held for the third consecutive year.
On Saturday 16 June all the installations will be activated one by one, starting a 10.00 in the morning. More than ten Italian and international artists have been invited to take part.
The sound art installations are located at ten different places in the city: Antiche Carceri del Castello, Casa Cavazzini Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, Casa della Confraternita, Galleria Spazioersetti, Libreria Martincigh, Palazzo Caiselli (Università degli Studi di Udine), Palazzo Mantica (Società Filologica Friulana), the municipal swimming pool on Via Pradamano, Torre dell’Orologio, and the air raid shelter of Piazza Primo Maggio.
The works are joined and enhanced by lighting design coordinated by the cultural association Continuo.
