For the 6th edition of Manualmente Legno, FAI – Fondo Ambiente Italiano presents In Miniatura – wooden models between Crafts and Design.
Over 150 precious wooden models of antique furnishings, in miniature, from important private collections.
Antiques and more, surprising due to their fine details, materials, decorations and typological variety, provide an overview of the history of decor from the 12th to the 20th century, in a dialogue with the spaces and furnishings of Villa Necchi Campiglio, the famous residence designed by Piero Portaluppi, a synthesis of creativity, modernity and attention to crafted detail.
On 4-5 November the villa also hosts an exhibition and market of products by artist-artisans selected from the finest in Italy and Europe.
