The Argentinian Nicolás Calandri is the winner of the third edition of the competition organized by Infiniti. The participants were asked to design a folding chair with an innovative and revolutionary character, based on the identity and values of the Infiniti brand, including creativity, dynamism and a cosmopolitan spirit. Turtle by Nicolás Calandri is a folding chair in polypropylene that stands out for its organic form and fresh, youthful, almost irreverent image, making it a unique model. The enveloping rounded monocoque design, combined with a high level of functional and ergonomic quality, makes Turtle a different folding chair, in tune with the smaller size and greater dynamism of residential spaces. The winner was selected by a jury composed of Giovanni Pegoraro, Paolo Orlandini, Paola Carimati, a journalist from Elle Decor, and Aurelio Magistà. Two special mentions went to Milly, a chair in wood with a Nordic look, by Francesco Ludovico Bertin, and to Unplec, a project that combines ethical value and playfulness, by the Spanish duo José Lopez-Aguilar and Roger Castro.
