Italy was a protagonist at the latest edition of Ambiente, the international fair of consumer goods held in Frankfurt from 12 to 16 February 2016.

After Denmark, France, Japan and the United States, it was Italy’s turn as the fifth Partner Country, then passing the baton for the next edition to the United Kingdom.

An integral part of the Partner Country Program was the presentation of a wide range of Italian products featuring innovative design and high quality standards.

The exhibition Dolce Vita, curated and installed by the designer Paola Navone, focused on the concept of convivial living: “The soul of Italy is craftsmanship, based on age-old traditions,” the designer said. In her exhibition Paola Navone brought together different products from the finest tradition of Italian manufacturing.

Caffè Milano Milano, also by Paola Navone, brought another corner of Italy into the fair pavilions, encouraging visitors at Ambiente to take a break in complete Italian style.

Caffé Rimini Rimini created by the industrial designer Giulio Iacchetti projected visitors into the special atmosphere of a typical Italian vacation spot. “The Adriatic Coast has always been the favorite destination of many tourists to spend holidays in total relaxation. My goal was to recreate, inside Ambiente, a corner devoted to the joyful Italian culture, where visitors could experience the atmosphere of such a special land,” the designer explained.
