Following the partnership agreement signed with the Chinese company Gold Bon Enterprises, Kartell has announced an intense program of openings of monobrand stores: 50 stores in 5 years in the most important cities of the Chinese market. The first city will be Beijing, where the Kartell Flagship Store opens at the end of May, featuring a large showroom, at Sanlitun Village. The space will present, for the first time in the world, a new luxury format designed by Ferruccio Lavianiexclusively for Kartell, to communicate the brand and its collection on a higher level, conveying a clearer idea of the quality, design content, fine materials and glamour. The shop has a large display area of 400 m2, very close by, to show architects, clients and contractors the entire collection. The Beijing flaghip store is just the first of a long series; in the summer of 2013 two more stores will be opened in Shanghai (at the APM department store soon to open at the Kerry Center) and in Chendu, at the ICF Mall.
