All the news scheduled at Fiera Bolzano from 18 to 21 May: between disclosure, updating and business opportunities

The seventeenth edition of Klimahouse, an international event on rehabilitation and energy efficiency in buildings, returns from 18 to 21 May 2022 at Fiera Bolzano with an eye to young professionals and innovative start-ups: the showcase dedicated to these realities is Future Hub, unique opportunity to have a complete panorama of innovative start-ups and opportunities for these young companies to get in touch with potential industrial and commercial partners able to support them on the market. Future Hub will also host the candidate realities in the Startup and Startup Mobility categories - new for 2022 - of Klimahouse Prize 2022. Many new features are planned, including dissemination, updating and business opportunities, in a transformation path from a classic fair to an active hybrid platform 365 days a year. A moment of confrontation to update and exploit technological and method innovations, laying the foundations for a new way of building.

Lots of news

The first novelty is the presence of two stages at the fair, whose activities can also be followed in streaming: Klimahouse Innovation Forum, focused on the future of sustainable construction, with companies and experts ready to exhibit their case studies, and Klimahouse Academy dedicated to training in collaboration with partners and associations.

Four focuses for four days

Also new is the subdivision of the four days of the festival, each one focused on a specific theme. It starts on Wednesday 18 May with a focus on architecture and the target of young professionals. Thursday 19 will talk about the circular economy, addressing professionals, also recipients of the activities of Friday 20, focused on the world of wood with the Klimahouse Wood Summit dedicated to the theme of wooden construction, with its facets and growing importance for construction large-scale residential (read the full program). Finally, Saturday 21st space for sustainable living for professionals and private clients, with free consultations from CasaClima technicians.

Make way for young people

Klimahouse promotes ways of involving the new generations with a series of initiatives aimed at young professionals. Among these, the entry of an under 35 juror in the jury, chaired by Professor Niccolò Aste of the Politecnico di Milano and made up of experts in the energy-building-environment sector, to identify the shortlist of five finalists of the Klimahouse Prize. Klimamobility 2022 (on Friday 20 and Saturday 21) will see next to the Klimamobility Congress, an exhibition and events aimed at professionals, but also free consultations, expo and test drives for individuals.

The Congress, the Prize and the Tours

Klimahouse Congress in 3 days presents the most innovative and futuristic perspectives of the sector. The Klimahouse Prize, an award for excellence organized in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano for the most virtuous exhibiting companies that have distinguished themselves with their ability to innovate, strengthen and expand the energy efficiency and environmental sustainability market from a perspective of circular economy. Klimahouse Tours, with the South Tyrolean Architecture Foundation: a series of thematic guided tours to get to know the best examples of local sustainable architecture up close.

The collateral initiatives

On the occasion of this edition of Klimahouse, two collateral initiatives enrich the program schedule of the event: Breakfast News, the Tg on air every morning from 9:00 to 9:15 to remember the highlights scheduled and welcome exclusive interviews and thematic insights , and Klimahouse for Bolzano, a path between shops, restaurants and bars with zero-kilometer products, or short supply chains, which, in collaboration with local partners, will animate the entire city center during the event.
