The Prize for the Degree Thesis in Landscape, Architecture and Design with Stone, created and organized by Veronafiere, in collaboration with the Architects’ Association of Verona, is part of the cultural activities of the 47th Marmomacc, to promote awareness of the culture of stone among architects, engineers, designers and manufacturers. In particular, the Prize contributes to the approach to stone materials, their knowledge and correct use, in the phase of training of future professionals. The competition, held every two years, assigns a cash prize to degree theses that focus on the use of stone materials in landscape, architecture and design projects. Recent graduates from Italian schools of architecture, engineering, design and related disciplines are eligible to participate. The prize ceremony will be held during the course of the 47th Marmomacc, the International Exhibition of Marble, Design and Technologies, in September 2012.
