RFK Human Rights Italia and civic engagement

Founded with the aim of carrying forward Senator Kennedy's legacy in the field of human and civil rights, RFK Human Rights Italia has been working in Italian schools alongside teachers for about 15 years of every order and degree to provide those tools necessary for teaching on topics such as stalking, domestic violence, the death penalty, bullying, cyberbullying and many others.

Made in Italy design all’auction

Every year the association promotes a fundraising auction in support of its programs, which this year will see the excellence of made in Italy design engaged in a moment of sharing values and vision of the future.

About thirty companies have generously donated historical pieces, prototypes and one-offs: Alessi, Artemide, Azucena, Calligaris, Cappellini, Cassina, Davide Groppi, Desalto, Edra, Emu, Fiam, Foscarini, Frag, Gallotti & amp; Radice, Gervasoni, Giorgetti, Lema, Living Divani, Martinelli Luce, Molteni & amp; C, Oluce, Paola Lenti, Porro, Qeeboo, Studio De Lucchi, Venini, Zanotta.

The preview of the lots

The works were exhibited by Christie's in via Clerici 5 in Milan, from 28 to 30 September 2021 on the occasion of the preview of the lots, and were then auctioned on November 19, 2021 at IBM Studios in Piazza Gae Aulenti in the presence of Kerry Kennedy, seventh daughter of Robert Kennedy and president of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, during the RFK Human Rights Italia Gala & Award 2021.

The support of INTERNI

"In the last year, RFK Human Rights Italy has been alongside families in need, teachers and school students in teaching the values of the Constitution and the present and future vision of active and responsible citizens" explains Stefano Lucchini, President Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Italy. "This auction, created thanks to the support of Gilda Bojardi and INTERNI magazine, media partner of the event, will allow us to continue our work to build a new future as individuals, citizens and, as Maestro Gio Ponti said, inhabitants".

To whom will the funds raised at the auction be donated

The funds raised will be used to support the association's programs, such as that of Human Rights Education in Italian schools which, thanks to the introduction of compulsory Civic Education in every school of order and grade, has allowed its widespread diffusion throughout Italy.

Emergency Fund for Covid-19

The global emergency of Covid-19 has also opened up many crisis scenarios and the need for urgent interventions in favor of the weakest people: for these reasons RFK Human Rights Italia immediately activated a emergency fund financed by Italian and American donors, an ideal bridge between two friendly countries to support the economic and health emergency in particular in the areas of Milan with Caritas Ambrosiana , in Florence with the Red Cross and in Rome with the Bambino Gesù Foundation.
