The new Smeg store recently opened at Via della Moscova 58 in Milan features events organized in collaboration with Corraini Edizioni in July and September.

The protagonists are design, art and cooking, interpreted in keeping with the Smeg spirit by creative talents famous for their experimental approach: Martí Guixé, a pioneer of Food Design, will offer a light lecture on food as design; designer Chiara Moreschi will organize a workshop on how to invent and build ingenious utensils for the preparation of typical Italian foods; and Cristiano Meneghin, an artisan of Italian street food in London, will talk about how the tradition of street food is transforming social habits and the urban fabric of big cities.

Finally, Riccardo Blumer, architect and designer, through a performance created with his studio Blumerandfriends, will literally dismantle to cook, the “machine” par excellence in the kitchen.

Finally, a series of cooking lessons will offer an appetizing chance to open the doors of the world of Smeg to a growing audience of people who are embracing the company’s philosophy, as reflected in purchasing choices.
