Four corner shop windows overlooking the church of San Simpliciano, in the heart of Brera, flood an environment with a strong Scandinavian flavor. This is how the new Manerba showroom in Milan is presented.

Here the Mantuan brand, with fifty years of experience in the office furniture sector, offers a unique home-feeling for work spaces, where light and Nordic references dominate. Also thanks to the installation project A Place to Live, curated by the designer and art director of the brand Federica Biasi, which outlines “an agile, happy, tailor-made environment in which the warmth of wood, soft colors, textile softness predominate. sound absorbing.

The 300 square meter open space, distributed over two floors and a mezzanine, houses the collections of tables, desks, seats, systems and screens, capable of furnishing both multifunctional workspaces, adapted to new post-covid needs, and workspaces at home. In addition to Biasi, the designers are internationally known names: Philippe Nigro, Raffaella Mangiarotti, Ilkka Suppanen, Busetti Garuti Redaelli, Shane Schneck.

Far from being a pure exhibition space, the new showroom is designed to build a dialogue with the designers. The Materioteca and the temporary storage service are dedicated to them, for which architects and interior designers, using special reserved tray-boxes, can create their own coordinated/mood boards and leave them in the showroom. How do you do it in the library. A useful sampling tool for materials, colors, finishes, upholstery fabrics, for customized projects in the office, contract, hospitality, residential and commercial sectors.
