Online from 24 to 27 May, the marble community takes stock of the present and future of the sector with authoritative speakers of international fame

Marmomac is preparing the return to the physical edition scheduled from 29 September to 2 October 2021 in Verona. Registrations are proceeding, as are the news and international initiatives including the scouting activity launched by ICE-Italian Trade Agency to welcome foreign buyers in Verona. The event will be renewed in content and format to respond to the need to return to doing business on the occasion of a physical appointment while ensuring that it is carried out according to the highest safety standards - as required by the Safetybusiness plan, which is constantly updated according to government regulations.

The event hosted in the Veronafiere pavilions will be the tip of the iceberg of a more complex project that will see the Marmomac Talks Live as the first appointment, the digital event that from 24 to 27 May 2021 will bring the protagonists of the sector to confront and reflect on the present and the future of the marble industry. During the four days, 11 extremely topical trend topics will be addressed thanks to internationally renowned speakers and successful case histories and the public will be able to intervene with questions and comments. Participation in the talks is subject to a fee and takes place upon registration. The topics covered in the talks range from sustainability in the architectural field to the use of marble in contemporary art or in the world of design, from the perception of marble as a noble material in luxury construction to its new use thanks to the most advanced technologies, from promotion of natural stone in the American market to communication strategies of the stone sector in China.

The talks are part of the broader Marmomac Plus project, the digital platform which, overcoming the time limits of a fair, operates 365 days a year, even with companies not participating in the physical event but subscribed to the portal, with the aim of supporting professionals of the sector in a continuous path of updating and knowledge through a wide sharing of information and projects relating to the uses of natural stone provided by a network of Italian and foreign companies.
