The consolidated collaboration with Colombian artisans leads to the creation of a limited edition of handpainted birds in wood and metal.
The inspiration for the Marni Happy Birds collection comes from the world of art. A series of drawings generates five subjects, each of which is an ironic tribute to a great woman artist from the 20th century: Carol Rama, Frida Kahlo, Georgia O’Keefe, Alice Neel and Louise Bourgeois.
Proceeds go to the association Vimala to help children in Indian refugee camps.
