Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain presents an exhibition created in collaboration with the Institut des Hautes Etudes Scientifiques (HIES) with the support of UNESCO. For this event, the Fondation has opened its doors to the community of mathematicians and asked artists with which the foundation has worked in the past to accompany them, to create opportunities to see, hear, create, think and interpret mathematics. In this way, Fondation Cartier approaches the “sudden change of scenery” described by the mathematician Alexandre Grothendieck.
