This event is for a vast, varied audience, but above all it is seen as a gathering place for sector professionals. The true challenge is that of focusing on proposals from the early 1900s: from Art Nouveau to Art Deco, dolls to comics, vinyl records to advertising. In short, “modern vintage”, a term invented precisely at Mercanteinfiera, which today also covers the area of vintage design, including collectables that are no longer in production. Collateral events include the exhibition Advertising and art – Giuseppe Bacci: Paths of Italian Graphics from the postwar years to the economic boom, curated by Guido and Stefano Cribiori.
