For the holiday season, the association Milano Durini Design brings the Durini district to life with the very first Christmas in Durini Design District 2016.

The initiative, supported by the City of Milan, involves important design brands in the zone: Axor, B&B Italia, Baxter, Cassina, Interni, Luxury Living,  Meritalia, Natuzzi, Porro, Salvioni, Scic, Technogym.

Elegant decorations and lights enhance the area, which will feature special opening hours on the evening of 20 December.

The holiday project reinterprets the Christmas tree through its “deconstruction” and reassembly as a roof garden, thanks to luminous installations and green spheres covered in moss with inserts of natural materials. The garden comes alive thanks to the decorative intervention of Kokedamas: balls of moss and earth, a feature of the ancient Japanese art of flowers, in a project by the floral designer Elisabetta Bodini.
