Triennale Design Museum presents the exhibition Normal Wonders: The Hand, curated by Alessandro Guerriero and Alessandra Zucchi: the interpretation by over 50 international artists and designer of a hand created by the artist Mimmo Paladino.
Mimmo Paladino has donated the drawing of a hand to Fondazione Sacra Famiglia, to be reproduced in 54 sculptures with a height of 50 cm by the guests of the foundation’s ceramics workshop. The foundation focuses on support for people with complex disabilities.
Besides Paladino, Alessandro Guerriero and Alessandra Zucchi have called on 53 internationally acclaimed Italian and foreign artists and designers to rework the sculptures with drawings, paintings and objects.
During a charity gala dinner on 3 December, the Hands will be sold in a raffle. The numbered tickets are already available (for info: lamano@c-zone.it – T +39 02 87286581).
The operation is part of Normali Meraviglie, an initiative promoted by the foundation to focus on the concept of Fragility, in collaboration with Associazione Tam Tam.
