To celebrate its 70th anniversary, INTERNI gives itself a new image by Tomo Tomo, premiering with the May issue

To celebrate its first 70 years, Interni presents itself with a new graphic project signed by the studio Tomo Tomo which renews the image of the magazine and its entire editorial system.

Furthermore, its contents are enriched with a broader schedule of columns which, from macro to micro, tell an increasingly transversal vision of the contemporary project.

Davide Di Gennaro and Luca Pitoni, founders of the Tomo Tomo studio, state: “Jasper Morrison, a few years ago, called it Supernormal: an approach to design in search of pure form, the simplest, without frills that distract from function.

The new graphic project by Interni is based on the same idea. Visual clarity and linearity that are a guide to the contents, a frame that must not overwhelm but enhance the contents: larger photographs, more readable texts and a more evident structure of the sections".

The new image debuts with this May issue, traditionally in English, which is officially presented in New York on the occasion of NYCxDesign (16 - 23 May 2024) and is therefore focused on the American creative scene.

The virtuous design relationships that link Italy to New York - and to the USA more generally - are documented by the stories of excellent Italians who have chosen their operational base overseas and, at the same time, by American designers who have established fertile collaborations with Made in Italy companies.

An extensive story is dedicated to the latter on their settlements in the Big Apple through increasingly important and scenographic spaces and showrooms: the tangible sign of the growing success of Italian design in the Stars and Stripes market.
