At Fondazione Piero Portaluppi, with the support of Expo Milano 2015, the exhibition “Portaluppi, architettura spettacolo – da Expo a Milano” features works by the architect Piero Portaluppi, curated by Alessandro Scandurra, architect and director of the Foundation, whose goal is to familiarize the general public with the world of architecture.

The exhibition features drawings, projects and photographs of the most spectacular and characteristic works by Portaluppi, which left their mark in Milan from the 1920s to the end of the 1960s, with a particular focus on the Expo in Barcelona in 1929, where Portaluppi designed the Italian pavilion.

This exhibition represents the continuation of the museum itinerary through Casa degli Atellani and Vigna di Leonardo, created by the Foundation and open to the public since 1 May, to allow visitors to learn more about the architect who restored Casa degli Atellani and the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, contributing to safeguard two important sites of Renaissance Milan.
