Galleria Bel Vedere (via Santa Maria Valle 5), in collaboration with GRIN (Gruppo Redattori Iconografici Nazionale), proposes a selection of images made in 2012 by 42 photographers who have chosen Milan as a terrain of reflection and discovery. The traditional appointment with Prima Visione is back, the exhibition that since 2006 has opened the yearly calendar of Galleria Bel Vedere. GRIN (Gruppo Redattori Iconografici Nazionale), for this year’s show, has widened the field to cover new trends in contemporary photography. Many of the works still focus on the large construction sites in the city, but other images also document outlying zones, surviving trees, and the splendors of the historical center. There are also pictures of the people of Milan, both famous names and anonymous faces. Established or experimental languages, to narrate a city in a state of change, always different, as it is always different in the eye of the observer.
