Progetto Fuoco (the international exhibition of equipment and systems for the production of heat and energy through wood combustion) opens its doors at the fair in Verona for its tenth edition: the event, held every two years since 2000 (the first edition was in 1999) is considered a reference point and a must-attend event for the sector of wood-based heating. It is also the only worldwide event on the complete cycle of this industry.

An ideal meeting place between the production Made in Italy and Made in Europe (given the strong presence of foreign companies at all the editions) and international demand, Progetto Fuoco welcomes many buyers from all major markets around the world, both traditional and emerging.

Modern and traditional heating devices, using pellets or wood, machines for making pellets and large biomass systems, materials, technical components and smoke removal systems are the merchandise sectors in the seven pavilions and the large outdoor areas of Fiera di Verona.

“Progetto Fuoco has become the world’s most important event in the wood-based heating sector,” says Raul Barbieri, director of Piemmeti spa, the company that organizes the event. “It is a fair with outstanding numbers: 750 exhibitors, including 300 from abroad, 105,000 square meters of display area, with over 250 functioning products, thanks to a sophisticated smoke removal system.”

Ado Rebuli, president of Piemmeti spa, emphasizes that these are “the premises and the expectations for a fair that has reached its tenth edition in a favorable moment. Sector data have been positive for years, proving the vitality of a lively industry to which the world of energy is paying closer and closer attention. New, advantageous prospects for an increasingly demanding market in terms of energy savings and respect for the environment and people.

The event also includes a fine program of conferences, seminars, round table discussions, courses, workshops and encounters, as well as the competition “Il caminetto la stufa e lo spazio attorno” supported by ADI.
