The new monumental sculpture by American artist Pae White, Qwalala, in the outdoor garden of Le Stanze del Vetro, is a project of Fondazione Giorgio Cini onlus and Pentagram Stiftung.

This second temporary installation – after the Glass Tea House Mondrian by Hiroshi Sugimoto – is a long curved wall made with glass blocks, crafted by the Venetian firm Poesia Glass Studio: about half the blocks are transparent, while the others have a range of 26 colors. The blocks are made with a “tempest” effect, a swirl of colors, while remaining transparent.
