Triennale Design Museum presents the exhibition Ritrovare Ico Parisi, curated by Roberta Lietti and Marco Romanelli, with exhibit design by Marco Romanelli with Giorgio Bonaguro, for the centennial of the birth of Ico Parisi.
The exhibition has been made in collaboration with the Archivio del Design di Ico Parisi.
This show is the continuation of the research of the Triennale Design Museum on outstanding personalities who interacted with the wider territory of Monza and Brianza.
Ico Parisi was a very prolific designer, operating in a multidisciplinary dimension typical of the rebirth of Italian design after World War II.
Parisi was an architect, designer, art director, photographer, filmmaker, painter and artist.
The exhibition generates initial reflections and a tribute to the work of Parisi, setting precise chronological and typological limits due to the large quantity of existing materials. The curators have focused on the “classic”period of Parisi’s output, i.e. from the end of the war to the end of the 1950s, and on a single typology: the table.
