With a solo show, Romero Britto comes to Milan for the first time at the gallery Deodato Arte, on Via Nerino. The Brazilian Neo-Pop artist experiments with elements of Cubism, Street Art and Pop Art in his works, featuring bright colors and simple forms.
The show includes a selection of twenty canvases, sculptures and screen prints of various sizes.
Visitors will have an opportunity to explore Britto’s unique style based on simple geometric lines, vivid colors and icons, reminders of a fantasy world of cartoons that evokes memories of childhood and serenity, in contrast with the chaotic, problematic present.
