In Milan, the world in which we will liveis the new headline for the upcoming 52nd edition of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, with the International Fair of Furnishing Complements, the biennial Euroluceand SaloneUfficioas well as the SaloneSatellite, now in its 16th edition. The central role of Milan as the city of design, where international ideas meet the industrial system and are transformed into products, lies behind the success of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, which welcomes over 330,000 sector professionals every year. The protagonist of a new project on the complementary relationship between the home and the world of work will be Jean Nouvel, commissioned by Cosmitto create an unusual vision of interaction between those two realms. Inside the pavilions of the SaloneUfficio, 1600 m2 will contain the concept by the French architect, with a focus on the pleasure of living in a work environment, research on new materials and technologies for comfortable, efficient solutions that respect human beings and the environment. The expo layout of the last edition returns, representing an ideal combination of classic, modern and contemporary design. Pavilions 9-11-13-15 host Euroluce, with Italian and international lighting firms. At 22-24, alongside the booths of SaloneUfficio, visitors can also enjoy the SaloneSatellite space for young emerging designers.
