An architect who makes design into an expression of contemporary culture, Patricia Urquiola, and a brand that makes footwear part of the culture of dress, Santoni, join forces to generate a new retail space experience: a project that is a symbol of Italian craftsmanship.Patricia Urquiola has shifted, along a two-way path, the quality of the content into that of the container: the shop has the same qualitative characteristics as the footwear it displays. The result is a space with a comfortable atmosphere, warm and welcoming, with custom furnishings based on linear design. The details and materials, of great natural and technological quality, make the place even more sophisticated and precious: brushed walnut paneling, into which a geometric web of brass-plated, etched and brushed metal is inserted to trigger an appealing tactile sensation, even at first glance.
