The products of the Edra collection furnish the exhibit spaces of the show “Fashion in Florence, Through the lens of Archivio Foto Locchi” at Palazzo Pitti in the evocative setting of Andito degli Angiolini.
The initiative done with the support of Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana opened to coincide with Pitti Immagine Uomo.
The show is the result of the encounter between Archivio Foto Locchi, the director of the Uffizi Eike Schmidt and the publishing house Gruppo Editoriale, to celebrate the ties between Florence and fashion.
The evolution of fashion is seen in black and white photos from one of the city’s most important historical archives.
