The show retraces the design history of fifteen Kartell chairs (from Universale to Piuma, by way of Maui) made from the 1960s to the present, which represent important innovations of the chair typology in plastic material.
The chairs in the exhibition are by important designers and great masters like Gae Aulenti, Ron Arad, Carlo Bartoli, Anna Castelli Ferrieri, the trio Giorgina Castiglioni – Giorgio Gaviraghi – Aldo Lanza, Centrokappa, Joe Colombo, Piero Lissoni, Vico Magistretti, Masayuki Matzukaze, Philippe Starck.
