Van Gogh: Immersive Experience is about to open in Milan, the experiential exhibition that allows you to walk among the artist's works hosted by Lampo Scalo Farini until December 2023

Van Gogh Experience, the name is enough to give an idea of what will be Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience in Milan, the long-awaited shows that he mixes digital and physical thanks to the video-mapping tool.

Following an interactive path among the famous works of the Dutch artist, you will find yourself catapulted among sunflowers or almond trees in bloom - to name some of his most iconic works - in a succession of brushstrokes, drawings and paintings made dynamic.

The exhibition has already toured the world, but it is the first time it has arrived in Italy. After the success achieved internationally, with over 5,000,000 visitors , Exhibition Hub, specialized in the design and production of immersive multimedia exhibitions, together with Fever, a leading platform for live entertainment, bring the format at Lampo Scalo Farini.

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience will be open in Milan from 1 June to the end of December 2023.

For the arrival in Italy, the exhibition has been completely renewed in the technological proposal; in a marriage between digital art, educational content and new virtual reality experiences, it offers an immersive and hyper-instagrammable adventure: 60 projectors will animate 350 Van Gogh masterpieces visible at 360° on an area of 2000 square meters between floor, walls and ceiling .

What is Immersive Edutainment

The organizers, Exhibition Hub, are specialized in proposing experiences of the edutainment genre that combine computer, didactic but also entertainment use in a single container . Fun, therefore, but aimed at leaving something to those who visit the exhibitions.

In the case of Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience in Milan, a documentary will be screened which will tell the secrets of Van Gogh's pictorial technique, a room dedicated to his Studio and a another area called 'Color and exhibit' - entirely reserved for the imagination of visitors who will be able to create and view their own creations inspired by the artist's most famous paintings on a large screen, or take them with them as a souvenir of the exhibition.

Finally, the Milanese setting will exclusively present the Japonism room with the works in which Van Gogh let himself be inspired by the art of Japanese prints. Thanks to virtual reality, it will also be possible to explore 'A day in the life of the artist': a 10-minute multi-sensory experience to further investigate the Dutch master's creative process and discover the inspiration for some of his most famous paintings. as beloved as Vincent's Room at Arles and The Starry Night Over the Rhone.
