Fondazione Aldo Morelato, for the tenth edition of the guidelines for the competition “Il Mobile Significante”, urges reflection on the universe of small furnishing complements. The participants –young or less young, professional architects and students –are asked to design an object, putting it into context in a living space (kitchen, bedroom, studio, living room, entrance…), that relies on craftsmanship with wood. The prototype of the first prize winner will be produced by the Morelato company, known around the world for its cabinet-making tradition, and will become a part of the MAAM –Museem of Applied Furniture Arts– the Foundation’s permanent museum. http://www.fondazionealdomorelato.org/it/pages/concorso-internazionale-1.
