The show on small sculpture is held in the evocative spaces of the Pavillon de l’Esprit Nouveau designed by Le Corbusier for the Exposition International des Arts Décoratifs in 1925 and reconstructed in Bologna in 1977.
The works are minimum constructions, and somehow offspring of the architectural idea of the space they now inhabit.
The 33 small sculptures are by: Salvatore Arancio, Sergia Avveduti, Simone Berti, Davide Bertocchi, Sergio Breviario, Jacopo Candotti, Gianni Caravaggio, Francesco Carone, David Casini, Alice Cattaneo, T-yong Chung, Cuoghi Corsello, Michael Fliri, Luca Francesconi, Giovanni Kronenberg, Stefano Mandracchia, Eva Marisaldi, Nicola Melinelli, Maria Morganti, Luca Pancrazzi, Alessandro Pessoli, Marta Pierobon, Andrea Renzini, Andrea Sala, Marco Samorè, Lorenzo Scotto di Luzio, Namsal Siedlecki, Vincenzo Simone, Natalia Trejbalova, Luca Trevisani, Marcella Vanzo, Serena Vestrucci, Italo Zuffi.
The show has been organized in collaboration with Istituzione Bologna Musei and Regione Emilia-Romagna, in the context of Art City Arte Fiera.
