On the occasion of Miami Beach Art Basel 2021, the Consulate General of Italy in Miami presents “SustainabItaly - People, Planet, Prosperity” on 4 December.

Italy's commitment in the fight against climate change and in increasing the use of renewable energies is at the center of the sustainability agenda. This is a commitment that comes from our past and that we want to keep for future generations.

On the occasion of Miami Beach Art Basel 2021 , the Consulate General of 'Italia in Miami presents on 4th December SustainabItaly - People, Planet, Prosperity”, an exhibition organized with The Wolfsonian – FIU and curated by the architect Luisa Bocchietto , which presents Italian artifacts that constitute a unique combination of beauty, functionality and sustainability.

During the exhibition, examples of non-polluting solutions, products designed for energy conservation and recycling of materials will be exhibited.

SustainabItaly contains the perfect mix to enhance the essence of the design objects on display: to be equally sustainable and proudly made in Italy.

The sustainability agenda is pursued by Italy and shared with the European Union. Furthermore, with the presidency of the G20 and the co-president of COP-26, Italy is responding to the global challenges posed by the pandemic with a more sustainable approach.

The Director of INTERNI Gilda Bojardi will also participate in the inauguration on 4 December.
