The traveling exhibition on Vico Magistretti makes a stop in Paris
The exhibition spaces of the Hotel de Galliffet (73, rue de Grenelle), home of the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris, welcome the traveling exhibition “Svicolando” on Vico Magistretti. Sketches, portraits, images and archival materials document the professional relations between the designer and companies that have made the history of Italian design, including his particularly important collaboration with Artemide. The show includes lamps like the Eclisse, designed in 1967 and winner that same year of a Compasso d’Oro/ADI, the Dalù, reissued in 2005, and the Chimera, designed in 1969. For info: www.artemide.com
