The first edition of the national video competition presents a series of short works. It is organized by AIDI,the Italian Lighting Association, in collaboration with the Fondazione Triennale. Take back the city, take back the light is aimed at young creative talents, under 30, who can send a short 60-second video to the site www.riprenditilacitta.it, made with any tools (video camera, smartphone, tablet), on how they see the element of light in their city, in three different thematic contexts  (places of culture, of movement and of leisure time). The focus of the initiative is nocturnal urban space, with light as the protagonist, to bring out the relationship of young people with ‘their’ city, the place where they live, study or work, making them more aware of the importance of lighting in everyday life. The competition asks the many young videomakers to represent light in everyday space-time settings.
