The works and projects of the Snøhetta studio will be on display at the MACRO Testaccio (Piazza Orazio Giustiniani 4), the only Italian stop on a world tour of this exhibition Norway has produced on this famous studio of contemporary architecture. The show, created by the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design of Osloand commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, includes models, films, drawing and photographs on the most important projects, starting with the Library of Alexandria all the way to the Oslo Opera House, conceived not as a single building but as an undulating urban landscape; from the organic forms of the King Abdulaziz Center for Knowledge and Culture in Saudi Arabia to the Memorial Pavilion of September 11th in New York; all the way to the innovative ‘trumpet’ made with a plastic membrane created as a demountable pavilion for the most important jazz festival in Norway.
