This year’s Biennale, entitled Viva Arte Viva, is directed by the curator Christine Macel.
For Artemide, supporting the Venice Art Biennale 2017 represents a way of sharing themes and contents.
“Designing a light – says Arch. Carlotta de Bevilacqua, vice-president of Artemide – does not just mean designing a form. You also have to address technical and performance aspects, paying attention to people, the needs of life and wellbeing. For Artemide technological research is always combined with a humanistic vision and ethical and social reflections.”
The Italian company, an international reference point in lighting design, takes part in the world’s most prestigious contemporary art event, not only by sharing contents but also with its light projects that accompany the experience of visitors.
