Collezione Maramotti (via Fratelli Cervi 66) presents the new project by Andrea Büttner, winner of the third edition of the Max Mara Art Prize for Women, in collaboration with Whitechapel Gallery of London. The show includes over 25 works: installations, woodcuts, polymateric triptychs and diptychs, glass and photographs, made by the artist during a residency in Italy. In this period Büttner lived at monasteries and communities, exploring sacred imagery, the frescoes of Giotto, as well as works of Arte Povera belonging to Collezione Maramotti: Alberto Burri, Enrico Castellani and Piero Manzoni. www.collezionemaramotti.org.
