Housing is increasingly hard to find and costly. As a response to this, in recent years we are seeing a revolution in contemporary architecture: that of collective building and living.
Featuring models, film and documentary materials, the exhibition “Together! The New Architecture of the Collective,” curated by Ilka and Andreas Ruby, Daniel Niggli, Mathias Müller (EM2N) at the Vitra Design Museum, approaches this global phenomenon by looking at a vast range of projects done in Europe, Asia and the United States.
21 international examples of co-housing created, among others by einszueins architektur, ifau + Jesko Fezer / Heide & von Beckerath, Michael Maltzan Architettura, ON Design Partners, Pool Architekten, Enzmann Fischer und Partner, Ryue Nishizawa.
