Storytelling, creativity and design are ingredients of the exclusive project ofDisney Italia Topolino e l’Italia. The outdoor exhibition, which made its debut on 22 April in the gardens of the Milan Triennale, until 15 May, has welcomed thousands of visitors, and is now ready to meet Italians in the next stage: at Il Centro di Arese, the largest shopping mall in Italy, from 21 May to 12 June 2016.

The 20 works already displayed will be joined by four new statues like the one of Mickey and Italy, the symbol of Disney’s ties with our country, as well as that of Il Centro, by the architect Michele De Lucchi, made with a pictorial treatment that evokes different types of wood, that of the Taormina Film Festival, which in addition to the colors of the sky and the sea of ​​Sicily has elements inspired by the lava of Etna, and that of Ferrero dedicated to sports.

For Mickey and Italy, the most beloved and popular mouse in the world becomes a work of art, through Italian creativity in all its forms, from art to fashion, design to food to motor vehicles.

An initiative created to celebrate the great history of Mickey Mouse, which has always been intertwined with that of our country. In Italy, in 1930, the Italian weekly stories of “Topolino” began, a publication that was a proving ground for great illustrators, flanked by scholars, critics and experts.
