The logo of the design exhibition held at the church of San Francesco plays with a kind of pun. On the one hand it indicates the City of Udine, Dept. of Culture, as the force behind an original research project on Fruili-based industry; on the other, the English imperative urges everyone to get creative. The subtltle of the show is The map of the design industry in Friuli. Curated by Anna Lombardi, the exhibition covers furnishings and industry, but also other segments from food design to high technology, lighting to wellness, from the well-known manufacturer of chairs to a craftsman, heir to a grand tradition, who still makes watches by hand. UDesign delineates an initial map of the companies that make design culture a main part of their activity, and have chosen aesthetic quality as a true strategy of differentiation of products on international markets. Exhibition produced with the support of: Moroso, IdeaEffe, Nonino Imballaggi, Marco Viola Studio and the graphics studio DSegno, which together with GraphArt has created a special issue of Juliet Design Magazine, media partner of UDesign.
