The exhibition Carlo Scarpa. Venini 1932–1947 curated by Marino Barovier moves to the Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York. The event in New York is organized by Nicholas Cullinan, with the help of Mary Clare McKinley, and it is the first show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art exclusively about glass. The exhibition launched, in August 2012, the activities of Le Stanze del Vetro on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, a cultural project organized by Pentagram Stiftung and Fondazione Giorgio Cini for the study of the Ventian art of glassmaking in the 20th century. www.lestanzedelvetro.it.
