The fall exhibition curated by Marino Barovier of Le stanze del Vetro is on Vittorio Zecchin, an artist who in the 1920s reinterpreted classicism to revive and modernize Murano.

The show features 250 monochromatic works in blown glass made when the painter was the artistic director of V.S.M. Cappellin Venini & C. (1921-25), first, and of M.V.M. Cappellin & C later (1925-26).

An artist and painter from Murano, son of a glass technician, Vittorio Zecchin (1878-1947) was one of the outstanding figures of 20th-century glass.
