Young Creative Chevrolet is the Pan-European competition for students at Institutes of the Applied Arts. YCC has grown constantly in popularity since its debut in 2007: a positive creative energy that has invaded Europe, to the point of involving, in the previous edition, 280 schools and universities in 24 countries. Once again this year, four disciplines can compete: photography, fashion, video and the visual arts. This time the theme is The Football Phenomenon. Looking for inspiration to soccer, perhaps the world’s most popular sport, where Chevrolet has some prestigious partnerships – both with Liverpool Football Club and Manchester United – the young European creative talents have to develop projects that pay tribute to soccer as a mass phenomenon, attempting to reveal its secret ways of generating strong emotions, not only in fans.
