The new collection by Gianluca Belli of Phicubo is inspired by an imaginary made of elegance and movement

A name, Albatros, that evokes an imaginary made of freedom, majesty and lightness. These concepts, combined with the element of air, inspired the designer to come up with the idea for the collection.

The albatross, in fact, is a symbol of wide spaces and elegance in movement, motifs that are reflected in the shape and functionality of the taps in the collection.

“Albatros was born instinctively,” says Belli, “from pure design, trying to dress water with a body, which offers itself by moving towards the user, who must simply accept to touch it without effort.”

A concept that underlines the designer’s unique approach in creating a harmonious connection between man and water.

The collection is made of brass and is characterized by its sculptural and fluid forms that convey dynamism and vitality.

A distinctive element is the use of a 22 mm flat cartridge, which contributes to the overall lightness of the tap.

In addition to its refined design, Albatros is also characterised by its functionality. The particular inclination of the tap was designed with the intention of keeping the handle above the sink basin, to avoid dripping onto the top when turning off the water with wet hands.

Albatros is available in all the finishes proposed in the catalogue for the brass collections of Rubinetterie Treemme.
